1、used to do sth表示「過去常常做」與would do sth的`區別是表示「過去的常常做的動作」時，常用would do sth.其它都用used to do sth

2、there used to be sth+地點，表示某處過去常常有某物，暗示現在已不存在。
例句：there used to be a temple on the top of tian zhong hill
天中山頂過去有一座寺廟。
二、get/be used to doing sth.（現在）習慣做某事=be /get accustomed to doing sth
例句：i get used to reading english every morning
我習慣每天晨讀英語。
三、sth be used to do 某物被用來做某事=be used for doing sth
例句：scissors are used to cut things
人們用剪刀來剪東西。
